Dr. Spector uses ultrasonic cleaning, which is one of the most thorough, yet comfortable, techniques for cleaning your teeth. He also utilizes a piece of equipment called a magnification loupe. This equipment allows Dr. Spector to get the most accurate viewpoint of your teeth possible. When an intense light is projected on the area to be examined, the magnification loupe produces an enlarged view of your teeth. Your teeth will appear 2½ times larger than their actual size.

Another piece of equipment that Dr. Spector uses is an intraoral camera. Intraoral cameras capture images of your mouth’s interior. Dr. Spector can see what’s inside your mouth by projecting these images onto a computer screen. He can also take photographs of your teeth to show you any areas that need treatment.
